本課程探討亞太的國家關系及其對世界的影響意義。內容涵蓋了這些關系的歷史模式、經濟動態、安全布局和經濟-安全紐帶,也包括了推動并塑造這些關系的關鍵行為體和議題。本課程考察了沖突與合作的根源,同時也評估了關于亞太地區重大事件和發展趨勢的不同詮釋。鑒于亞太地區崛起為世界政治中最活躍的地區之一,本課程旨在讓學生獲得對該地區國際關系中最重要議題的基本理解。
This course examines international relations of the Asia-Pacific and their implications for the world. The course covers the historical patterns, economic dynamics, security arrangements, and the economy- security nexus of the relations, as well as key players and issues that drive and shape the relations. The course examines the sources of conflict and cooperation while assessing competing explanations for key events and developments in the region. As the Asia-Pacific emerges as one of the most dynamic regions in world politics, this course is designed for students to acquire a basic understanding of the most important issues in the region’s international relations.

主講老師:黃小明(Xiaoming Huang)
黃小明是新西蘭惠靈頓維多利亞大學教授。黃教授是研究國際和東亞政治經濟學、中國與世界政治以及亞太國際關系的專家。2009-2014年間擔任《國際研究視野》的主編,創立新西蘭當代中國研究中心并擔任主任,擔任對外經貿大學、中國政法大學的榮譽客座教授以及復旦大學高級研究院,在《國際研究季刊》和《亞洲調查》等期刊上發表諸多論文。黃教授積極參與并促進新西蘭公共政策部門的亞洲政策決策,作為新西蘭政府和亞太地區國際組織的顧問,還是新西蘭與中、日、韓、東盟等第二階段雙邊對話的政府代表以及新西蘭亞太安全合作理事會成員。
Xiaoming Huang is Professor at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Professor Huang is a specialist on international and East Asian political economy, China and the world, and international relations of the Asia-Pacific. He was editor of International Studies Perspectives (2009-2014); founding director of the New Zealand Contemporary China Research Centre; an Honorary Chair Professor at University of International Business and Economics; an Honorary Chair Professor of China University of Political Science and Law; a Senior Research Fellow of Fudan University. His publications appeared in International Studies Quarterly, Asian Survey etc. Prof. Huang is an active participant and contributor to the New Zealand public policy sector on Asian policy, advises NZ government and international organizations in the region and has been a New Zealand delegate in bilateral Track II dialogue with Korea, Japan, China, ASEAN, etc. and a member of CSCAP: New Zealand National Council.
